OUR HEAD OFFICE TEAM
David is a third-generation builder with more than 20 years of industry experience. Holding an Advanced Diploma in Building and Construction Management and a QBCC Open Builder Licence, he has delivered projects across the commercial, civil, infrastructure and residential sectors throughout South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
As Managing Director, David leads Groupline's strategic direction, overseeing project delivery from inception to completion. His hands-on leadership, strong technical expertise and commitment to best-practice construction ensure every project is delivered with quality, efficiency and lasting value for clients.

Scott has more than 45 years of experience in the construction industry across Queensland and New South Wales. Since beginning his career in 1975, he has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, industrial and civil projects. Holding open construction, plumbing and drainage licences in both QLD and NSW, Scott brings extensive expertise in Design & Construct delivery and practical construction solutions.
Having founded and led several successful construction companies, Scott combines technical knowledge with strong commercial acumen. His leadership, industry insight and commitment to quality ensure every project is delivered with efficiency, integrity and exceptional outcomes for clients.
Scott Widdicombe
Commercial Director
Richard has a Degree in Construction and over 35 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. He has successfully delivered numerous complex construction projects across various sectors, including; multi residential, commercial, retail, medical, hospitality and government.
As Project Director, Richard oversees the full project cycle of all Groupline Projects. His role also includes identifying new opportunities and actively contributing to the strategic direction of the company.
Richard maintains strong client relationships and recognises the importance of building positive and lasting connections with all stakeholders.

Ben brings more than 25 years of construction industry experience and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a QBCC Open Builder Licence. With expertise across commercial, multi-residential, bespoke residential, industrial, education, childcare and aged care projects, Ben is passionate about thorough pre-construction planning as the foundation for successful project delivery.
He is committed to building strong, lasting relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors to achieve outstanding project outcomes.
Ben Musgrove
Project Manager
Sophie is the Office Manager at Groupline, overseeing the day-to-day operations that keep the business running efficiently. With a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management, she is responsible for accounts administration, human resources, payroll, and office operations.
Her organised, proactive approach and attention to detail help drive the smooth operation of Groupline and contribute to the company's ongoing success.

Steve Bendell
Estimator
Steve has over 45 years of experience in the construction industry and a Degree in Quantity Surveying. He brings extensive expertise in cost planning, estimating and tendering across a diverse range of projects, including residential, multi-residential, commercial, industrial, schools and aged care facilities. His depth of knowledge and practical experience provides clients with confidence from the earliest stages of project planning through to contract award.
Steve is responsible for accurately forecasting the cost of construction projects by analysing plans, specifications and project requirements. Duties include preparing cost plan budgets, detailed cost estimates, obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations, develop competitive tender submissions, identify project risks and opportunities, and value management solutions. Working closely with clients, consultants and project teams, Steve helps ensure projects are commercially viable, accurately budgeted and delivered within financial expectations of the client, while maintaining quality and compliance.
Harrison New
Contract Administrator
Harrison is a Senior Contracts Administrator with over seven years of experience in contracts administration, procurement, and commercial project delivery across commercial and residential construction.
He holds a Bachelor of Construction Management and has built strong capability across all aspects of Contract Administration and Project Management.
Since August 2024, Harrison has been with Groupline as a Senior Contracts Administrator, continuing to deliver strong commercial outcomes across project teams.
Harry Nolan
Occupational Health & Safety Manager
With more than 25 years of experience in construction safety, Harry is committed to achieving a zero-harm workplace where everyone goes home safely.
Having worked with leading builders, he brings extensive expertise in WHS compliance, risk management and safety leadership.
Passionate about fostering a strong safety culture, he works closely with project teams to ensure safe, compliant and efficient project delivery.
Tania is the Receptionist and Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, providing executive support and helping ensure the day-to-day operations of Groupline run seamlessly.
As the friendly voice you'll most likely hear when contacting our office, Tania is committed to delivering outstanding customer service while supporting both clients and the wider team. No task is too big or too small, and she takes pride in ensuring things get done efficiently and with a positive attitude.
